Just bought my car yesterday, notice a few problems

2004 Infiniti G35 coupe, I have noticed a few things though. I've noticed the clanking sound from the engine, a cricket like squeek in the cabin, and when i try to roll up my driver side window it gets caught on something and does the auto reverse. Need to tint the windows! I live in Phoenix, and having a darker car with black leather doesnt really help. Other than that I am beyond excited for this car.

go get your window motor replaced under warranty.. clanking could be a loose belt

Funny thing, i called my local dealership and I have four more days left on the cars warranty. So I am coming up with a list of things that could be fixed. I also noticed that my fuel door doesnt lock when my car is locked. Maybe I mis-read the manual. Thanks for the help.

^ No you didn't misread. The fuel door should lock when the car locks.

im willing to bet that "cricket" sound in the cabin is from your rearview mirror.

Weird how all those noise didn't show up in the test drive. Just like my 06. Noise from the engine is normal with the G.. It's not a Lexus/Toyota/Honda/Acura who have one of the smoothest engine I have ever herd. My friends 1996(?) Acura Legend with over 150k on it, Runs smooth as silk and the engine is quiet..
