Buying an 06 AT... too expensive?

Looking into buying a 06 AT. Don't want to get the older years as the 06s will still have warranty and I don't have to worry too much if something goes wrong. I just want a daily driver that's as problem-free as possible. Not gonna mod a whole lot either. Plus I like the newer styling and the smaller spoiler of the 06, as well as the stock MP3 HU and Intelligent Key!! Would have gone for a 6MT but too bad my fiancee doesn't drive manual.

I checked different places and found an 06 black on black with about 10K miles, sports, premium and aero package. Clean carfax and stuff and the guy is asking for $26K. This G35 is exactly what I want but...

1. Is it too expensive?
2. How do I know from pictures only if it has rear active steer?

THANKS!

I'd say you can do a little better..

I got my 05 black on black 25k miles w/ prem and sports package almost a year ago for $25k before tax..

you can look on autotrader or cars.com to see prices for similar vehicles around your area..

you can do better...check that "what did you pay for your g" thread

automatics tend to be a little cheaper as well.

Buying a G....?

Everyone should know how to drive a manual trans vehicle, kinda like learning
how to swim....you never know when you might need that ability. If the G
you're looking at is fully loaded (like mine) that's not a bad deal! (considering
the low mileage)

If the car is what you want the price is fair. Not too many out there with rear steering so I'd assume it doesn't have it.

Location matters - G's are a K or 2 more out on the west coast as opposed to the east.

if this is a private sale then i don't know if that price is good or not but if thats a dealer price then i think that is very fair. I think you should go check autotrader or cars.com to compare the price of the car you are looking at. I bought a 06 black 15k miles with every single option you can get in the car for 28k. This was a couple months ago. Some may say i paid too much but from what i saw on cars.com and autotrader with the exact options i found, the price a paid was even if not better than what I saw online. I think those sites are good gauges for what you should pay for the car.
