Hit road kill = SMELL!!

Okay guys. Last night i hit some road kill OR at least i think it was already road kill. It was like a raccoon or a possum?!

What ever the case, it left a nasty smell underneath my car! And when the fan of the car turns on cause its to hot it vents the smell from underneath my car. What can I do guys?!

Right when hit i immediately pulled over to a car wash and started washing underneath it. sprayed tire cleaner, high pressured soap, and wax(for the smell) all underneath my car. I also used a foaming soap brush to scrub underneath the car... but you can still smell a hint of it but also smells like it was burned...

WTH can i do!?!?!?!?

It'll pass in a few days. I had the same thing happen to me a few weeks ago. I immediately washed the car when I got home and it still stunk for a few days (even the garage wreaked). It eventually did go away though.

So it got underneath your vehicle too?

I remember hitting a dog in my truck but the dog was okay and walked away. But for some reason it still stank up my front end!!! Took it to the car wash and a few days it went away..

Hopefully it will go away. the smell is unbearable

Yeah, I had a piece of Armadillo stuck on my transmission housing. I had to use a trash picker to get it off...the smell was coming right up from under the shifter. It was bad!

Damn that really really freaking sucks!

Well the night that it happened, i looked underneath the vehicle and all i could see was a piece of fur dangling on that V shaped thing between the rear tires. SCRUBBED pretty damn hard all underneath my car at the car wash.
