I recently have installed high flow cats on my 05 coupe. Now my exhaust is smoking alot more then any other car i ever owned with the same amount of exhaust work. anyone else have this problem with aftermarket cats installed? Any suggestions would be a big help

Which aftermarket cats did you install? I didn't have any such problem after HFC install...

Are all of your gaskets sealed?

Keep an eye on your engine oil level.. maybe you're one of the unlucky people who has excessive oil consumption issues with the '05+ Coupes and you're seeing it more now due to the less restrictive exhaust.

if they were just installed, then maybe its just smoke from the new parts (gaskets, wrap, or any spray used) that's heating up. if its been a few days then i'd be worried.

+1 When I installed my new exhaust it smoked and smelled a lot at first from all the oils they put on it. After a little driving, smoking stopped.

New exhaust's will emit smoke for a while after the install. I don't know if high flow cats are supposed to also, but I don't see any reason that they would be any different than a new exhaust.
