Skyline Badges

Does anyone know how to get Skyline badges? I'd like to remove the Infiniti badges on the trunk and replace them with Skyline.

Re: Skyline Badges

tokyoblue,

I think the skyline badging would be sweet, so if you can get the "goods" then by all means go for it. Now, having said that, if you're going to change the badging on the outside, you're also going to have to change it on the inside as well. You don't want to have Nissan on the outside and Infiniti on the inside and I think that's where it can get kind of tricky and pricey. Anyways, just a thought....good luck on your search.

Re: Skyline Badges

Why do that ??!! You have an Inifiniti, you should be proud of it and stick with the brand ... I saw people putting M5 badges on their 5 series ... I personally, think that's bad, but again, it's just me !

Re: Skyline Badges

As has been stated many times that is not a fair comparison as there is very little difference between the skyline R35 and the Infiniti G35.....he didn't say he was going to put GTR badges on which would then be closer to your statement "I saw people putting M5 badges on their 5 series"

Re: Skyline Badges

There is a difference between using JDM badges and using higher-level model/trim badges. However, I wouldn't call it right and wrong.. I'd say it's a case of the lesser of two evils. I wouldn't do either to my car. It's a G35. It's happy to be a G35. It's proud to be a G35.

Re: Skyline Badges

Got a point there. It's G35 Coupe here in the States and Skyline in Japan. Take your pick, folks.

Re: Skyline Badges

I've seen one instance where someone put M3 badging on a 318.

Re: Skyline Badges

Man, if I had a nickel for every time I've seen someone put M badging on their 3-series, I'd be able to buy a few more G's! I think that's slightly different than badging a G as a Skyline... they're much closer than a 325i and M3 will be.

Re: Skyline Badges

Hehe, I wonder if all the modders in Japan are prying off their Skyline/GT350 badges in favor of the G35 ones.
