So to take off the badges you simply have to saw at them with a string of floss?? Am I understanding this correctly lol??

If you really wanna put them back of, you can just cut out small pieces of double sided tape or glue it back on. who cares your trading it in anyway.

Yep. The easiest way is to sit the car out in the sun for a bit to soften up the adhesive, use a few strings of dental floss (to make the line stronger) or a bit of fishing line to ease between the plastic emblems and saw off as much adhesive as you can without touching the paint. Once you have that taken off, you'll have chunks of adhesive left. Dab at it with some Goo Gone on a cloth, and use the card to carefully scrape most of that off. When it's just residue, you can use the cloth with a little goo gone to take the rest off.
