Actually, I know of 1 difference. The '03 has a crappy center console (I speak from experience). It has no arm rest and the cup holders and seat heater buttons are towards the back. I actually have to reach backwards just a bit to access either of them. I guess Infiniti heard enough complaints about this, so mid year (hence the '03.5) they added the arm rest and repositioned the cup holders and seat warmer buttons towards the front of the console.

That's the only difference that I am aware of between the '03 and '03.5.

^I'm not sure. I have MT. If someone doesn't beat me to it, I'll snap a pic and post it when I get home tonight.

I have an 03 6mt and it's set up the same as a 350z, at least the one I drove...It's not that bad without an armrest, but if my car was an AT I'd want

to add it on...There's also a few more differences, on the early 03s there's a button to open a compartment instead of an ashtray which are on the 03.5s.

The ashtray on the 03s is located before the heatwarmer buttons which can be removed to adjust the e-brake.

in that case, mines an 03.3 i kind of like the older center console, it works better for my arm than the ones with the arm rest, the arm rest on the newer 03s is almost useless. cup holders too far back is the only thing i dont like, but i can use the one in the door.

Yup, Big Rob is right. I have an 03.5 with the newer center console.

You can't honestly say there is NO difference because there are revisions at each production run, although minimal at times, they are driven by complaints, feedback from customers and dealers... I chose the 04.5 because it address some rattles, hard shifting in the 6MT, and a few other small items I can't remember these years later... At one time you could look at all of teh changes on nissannews.com but they have removed most of that old information and I wish I had copied it now.

I don't know I have an 03 or 03.5 not sure...and as far as hard shifting in the 6MT I don't experience it. I think alot of this is all subjective. My buddy has an 04 coupe and other than it being automatic and slower, I see/experienced no major differences between the two cars IMHO.

Wow...I used to know all of these fun-facts by heart but as time goes by they get cloudy.

I wanna say that there were differences between early 03's and later ones. Didn't they add TPMS sometime during the year and also make changes in the SAT by adding the button to the radio?
