anyone ever have this problem?? my passenger door lock is clicking but the lock isn't moving?? defect?? What is the fix?

 

Same happen to me... it was covered under warranty... the door lock actuator just went out...

 

same happened to me. first the driver side door went out, took it in for warranty and then the passenger side door went out 2 months later. first they blamed it on my aftermarket navagation system but they warranty it for me anyways.. so they claim and now it seemed like both side of the locks are going out. wonder is it really the aftermarket navy?

 

Its not they just try to find an aftermarket part to blame...

 

Has anyone posted an actual DIY for the doorlocks. There is one thread about replacing it with an aftermarket part but there's not enough details for someone that's not an installer.

It's the actuator. Mine went 9 months after my warranty was over, but the service manager took care of it for me out of "good will". I then decided to get the Elite Extended warranty as every repair on our cars costs big bucks.

 

i cant believe this, 40k car and all of this small crap. i had to remove dynamat from my door twice already now a third for this door lock

 

yea mine is being ****ing stupid too,,, but i just ran outta warranty
