OK this wasn't exactly fair for the S2K none-the-less, he asked for it.
At the light, I'm the first car in line and he is the second (behind me). With his top down he's reving his engine up behind me. So I turn VDC off and begin to brake torque (only the second time ever I've done so in this car.) From @ 1800 I release and I am of the line in a hurry. The s2K jumped in the other lane as we cleared traffic. However, the S2k never even had a chance. I put at least two carlengths between us by the time I reached 50. He gave up at that point and I didn't have to grossly exceed the posted 55 MPH speed limit. He tried to catch up to me latter to get beside me at the next intersection but I had to turn off. As I was waiting to turn, I noticed that he was staring hard at my wheels (don't know what that was about) I was paranoid so when I got to work I looked them over but didn't notice anything out of the ordinary.

I had this problem when I first got the car to. I was in races every single day, no matter where I went, and alot of them were S2000's. First one took me (cuz i slammed the gate between 1 - 3 instead of going to 3'rd) but after that I've been beating them all pretty consistently. Latley though, the only things that try to have a go with me are PT cruisers, CRX Si's and old bmw 3 series. Oh well.....its getin nicer out again though, well see what happens. As far as your wheels, he was definatly checkin for the brembos.

how does that count for a kill? He was behind you and you started off before he did. and Im sure hes not holding his rpm at 8000 for a launch waiting for you to take off, he would have crashed right into you. post a real kill please, instead of gloating in a self proclaimed one.

 

easy there tiger. I'm sure if they would raced past 55, it would have been a better race. s2ks has a high power range. its slow at low rpms.
