guys, the re-badging means nothing if you don't convert everything else. that includes RHD and the JDM spec tuning.

Just badges is total poser style.

"Nissan’s designation for the G35 Coupe and Skyline 350GT Coupe are both the same, CPV35. Whether the vehicle is sold in the US, Japan, Korea, the Middle East, or elsewhere in Asia, they are all produced at the same plant and on the same assembly line. At some points in production different parts are used for different markets. Most of these differences are legal ones however, as they are all essentially the same cars. Engines, Supsensions, Bodies, etc are all the same. There are a few differences however, such as:

Rear lights on the JDM coupe have orange secondary lighting
Nissan / Skyline 350gt labeling in Japan
Speedometer labeling in Japan
Suede seat inserts in Japan
Having said that, they are all badged inside as Nissan Motor Co. V35, whether they are USDM or not. Almost all G35s in the US that carry Nissan or Skyline badges were badged that way using OEM (original equipment manufacturer- in this case Nissan) parts. In many cases, this badging was done at the dealer at the customer's request, after delivery. Ultimately the argument over whether or not the USDM G35 is a Skyline 350GT is an argument of semantics.

Just curious, are people with "skyline" slapped on the back of their G35 looked at differently by the community and if yes, how so?

of course man you didnt know ? slapping on SKYLINE on the back immediately gives you 14 horsepower (2 horsepower per letter), and if you slap on a 350GT with the nissan badge on the back it doubles and if you're lucky tripple's the horsepower gain to a whopping 34-48 horsepower just on badgings. those are JDM functional badges plus it boosts your coolness by 25%

When I wake up in the morning, I **** coolness.... FTMFW

G35 = 350GT except for RHD, Nissan emblems on seats, engine cover, center caps, trunk badges, door sills and NO F'ing Clock!

Re-badge it if that makes you happy....

GT-R is a Nissan and nothing else is equal to it in the Infiniti line....
