3rd Time to the dealer about these damn muffler berrings. There driving me nuts.

 

If you rotate the air in your tires the muffler bearings will self-align.

The dealer installed mine in backwards.....so now it only does it in reverse......I guess its better than nothing.....isn't there a TSB on this somewhere?

I Wish there was a TSB these damn things are driving me nuts. I might have to lemon the car if it happens again!

 

If you need to pic some extra berrings up, they carry them at Home Depot right next to the level juice.

Had the same problem, dealer had put in a new set and also replaced the rotator splint for my spare tire.

I feel your pain. My flux capacitor has only been putting out .94 gigawatts lately. Ive called Infiniti and my dealer, but they havent been very helpful. At least this all happened before I put in my vortech and voided my warranty.

Maev- try a search over at my350Z.com for the muffler bearings, there was a DIY about how to replace them.

That's nothing.....after only 9000 easy miles, my twin rotor knibling pin has disloged from the inverted wankel shaft creating a distainful harmonic imbalance in the suspension yolk.
Help...what can I do? Anyone else had this problem?

Thats an easy fix as well.......the armature spocket which houses the rotor knobling pin sensor has probably loosened due to easy driving.

after some vigorous corners, you should see an immediate improvement, if not I suggest you pull your sdrawkcab out, check the clearances in both ports, and maybe realign the crossflow Y tube which should eliminate the problem completely.......

Last time that happened to me Infiniti did the service no charge

Your mileage may vary................Taxes and licensing extra....must be 18 to qualify

You got it.......were only talking Metric here........
oh......you can find the Metric pipe wrench at harbor tools....its in the section with the screw drivers and left handed paint brushes
