:: a free day + top gear OD = youTube! ::

So, when the first time I have a chance to pick up a DV, and I am absolutely intoxicated by Top Gear both during on and off season, I decided to shoot a film of my 2003 G35 Coupe.
With zero production budget and no one on my production team, shooting and hosting is challenging especially on a 99 degree summer day. But, how it looks? hmm, I will let you be the judge.

P.S. I did, however, made a second film the day after on an M3 E36, and the camera movement is a lot ore mature, check that out too.. oh, and did I say the two cars are rival?

Impressive... top gear pwns, wish we'd get it here. If they'd release dvd box sets or such, I'd be first in line for them.

This was a real surprise.....I went in expecting it to suck.....BUT, you captured the "feel" of TopGear and also delivered on representing the facts of the G. Very nice work.

Well done!

yeah, NoirKyouto, I know right, but I think they deserve Blu-Ray treatment instead of DVDs. But they are making Top Gear America, which let us all hopes it will be as good as what the three lads do across the Atlantic.

and thanks Memphis! I already want to reshoot the G35 episode. Since that was my first DV film, I was too busy learning how to use the camera and execute cool camera movements, then I picked a very bad, and slow, route for the driving, so not much good footage can use in the car.
I really need to get a HC cam, and jerry-rig some camera stabilizer. Bt until than, I will keep shooting the remaining cars in my garage. lol

thanks! Fabelhaft! I am trying man, but you see, there are not many cars left in my garage to shoot ^_^ luckily, some of my friends are joking about I should make a film for their cars. That will be pretty awesome, actually.

Honestly for the first few minutes I thought you were faking the english accent but then I realized it's likely your voice.

Point being, Good video.

Good job dude.... that was entertaining and well done.

You really nailed the part where you talked about the lackluster interior(excpet that Clarkson would have said pounds instead of money ). Jeremy loves to rip apart cars not made in Europe... especially American Market ones. Haha.

I watched your M3 one too... real nice job with the commentary there. That was was more in-line from start to finish with how Clarkson flavors the show(even without driving the car).
