Window malfunction???

My drivers side window rolls down like 6" when I use the auto-up button??? It goes up all the way & then drops down...WTF? No problems w/ it though when I just hold the button up until it closes. Has anyone had this same issue? I guess I'm goin to Infiniti to have them check it out.

Re: Window malfunction???

I have not had this issue *knocks on wood*. But I have seen a number of similar posts, and the dealer fixed it for them.

I haven't had any problems with my windows (YET). And I would imagine my windows have gone up and down at least 10xs more then anyone elses on the board!

Re: Window malfunction???

yup - exact same thing happened to my car two weeks ago. Be prepared for it to roll down and not roll back up very soon. ive been back to the dealership two times now and they finally agreed to put a new motor in and it works fine now. get in the dealership as soon as possible cuz it sucks when it finally stops rolling up and youre on a road trip (like i was).

Thanx...I hope this isn't a sign of things to come.

Re: Window malfunction???

Typical problem, mines in the shop right now for it. As well as seat rocking, and a nasty rattle in the gauge cluster.
