What do y'all think of an AT coupe's chances against a Navy
F-18A Super Hornet?

I think if I start from a roll, and the pilot isn't paying much
attention to his rear-view, my chances of taking him for the
first 1/8 to 1/4 mile are not that bad.

Of course, this is assuming a non-carrier take-off. Not even
a tricked-out Civic with an exhaust as wide as Star Jones'
right thigh has chance against a steam-driven catapult.

I welcome your thoughts on this.

I believe you will take his lunch 0-20 but after that, unless you have a jato rocket attatched, he'll suck you in the intake and spit you out the exhaust.

The F-18 has nothing on the G. With the G's incredible 280 ponies, you'll smoke him. Of course the F18 will win once you start hitting traffic though.

 

I raced a 40 caliber hollowpoint on my way to work this morning and had him EZ but I missed 3rd and he got about two muzzle lengths on me and cut me off. At the next light we went at it again and we were even up through 3rd until we had to slow down for traffic.
