Creating a newbie FAQ thread
Hey all - I have been on this board for over 5 years now and I see the exact same questions coming up all the time.
1) What mods do I start with a stock coupe?
2) How much does XYZ cost to install?
3) Need a bumper - what do I get
4) Want a reliable DD Twin Turbo for $2K - where can I get that?
5) How much are tires...yadda yadda yadda
6) Buying a used coupe - how much should I pay?
7) What is the best sounding, stock like exhaust?
Anyway, being on here this long, I know how the search works...but most don't and I think instead of simply flaming the poor sucker who doesn't know any better, we should create the Uber Newbie FAQ and sticky it in this forum - with a disclaimer "READ THE DAMN FAQ BEFORE POSTING IF YOU ARE A NEWBIE"...
Thoughts anyone?

great idea... these forums are getting full of "hey i didnt really read anything else here, but i got the most basic question and i need you to spell everything out for me" threads... hopefully this faq thread can be a sticky...
Good luck even with a FAQ people will still do it anyhow.
Dont forget about people asking how and what they need to put DD in their car... that one gets old to.
The FAQ should have a code hidden in the thread so if they dont read it, they cant get the code, which means they cant start a new thread.

While I think a FAQ thread would be great, stuff like 'what kind of X is best' should be mentioned, and the answer should be 'it depends' because most of that stuff is just opinion and there is no 'right' answer
