Why are you asking quesitons after you bought it, should have done your research before.

Personally, I don't like it.

everything is fine, I wouldn't have bought the CAI though. +1 on stock intake w/ drop in filter.

Actually, there is no solid proof that CAIs are bad. You can't see a CAI's gains on a dyno, so everyone assumes they aren't making power.

I think the CAI is worth it. Duh it wont give you much if any hp but you will definitely hear the difference in your engine when your gunning it. Its the sound you pay for, stock air box just doesn't have that.

Choices....?

Your choices for the mods wouldn't be mine, but they're all right. We all make
choices when we start modding our cars, learning can be expensive....I'm on
the 4th and final exhaust system and 3rd set of wheels (final too) Post a
few pic when you get it all installed and let us know what YOU think.

Not true. When I had my M3 I did a dyno run at 210 rwhp stock on my 99 M3 installed my CAI and ran a 215 rwhp. (Went from the stock air box to a 3 1/2 inch powder coated tube with a K&N filter.) Out of all the cars ive put a CAI these JDM cars eat it up the most. Im surprized to hear you guys think they dont do anything. True its not gonna give you a huge boost in power but I can feel the throttle response with a TINY bit of power and of course that good sound Im personally looking at the Injen CAI myself but im looking for other options.

CAIs show gains on some cars... minimal if at all on the G from the dynos I've seen.

With a tune, however, you might get something out of it. Plus the sound is way better than stock.

+1 a good tune as well at as other mods will help the flow. I think with intake headers exhaust and a tune youll sqeeze a decent amount of power out. As far as ive heard the flow restriction in the exhaust is a big hold back for the G.
