So how many miles were already on your brand spanking new G35 when you picked it up at the dealer?
I'm curious because mine for some reason had 33 miles on it. Naturally they didn't tell me that until I was in the middle of signing a zillion forms, so I didn't pay much attention. But afterwards (especially in light of the break-in period specs.) I got to wondering-- 33 miles?? I just hope it wasn't a test-drive car. During my test drive, the sales guy kept having me floor it to show off the power (I noticed that the test car only had 130 miles on it.) Gezzzz...

Nice thing about getting old- my Insurance Premiums are less then yours!

The dealer told me no one test drove the vehicle it was being held for someone but their insurance fell through and he bailed out on the deal the day I called about it. They stashed the car in the service dept so no one would test drive it b4 I got there.
If yours had 33 on it, it was most likely out on a few test drives. Don't sweat it, it seems that if you do run the higher RPMs right when you get the car, it will seal the rings better and your car will be better off in the long run.

My sedan had 4 miles on it. Anything over 10, and your car was probably out on at least one test drive. I wouldn't worry too much about it at only 30 miles. I wouldn't want to buy a "new" car with over 100 miles on it, though.

 

I think that mine had 4.. it had just came off the truck as well

12 miles on day of pickup. The Laser Red G35 Coupe I test drove in had over 900. The 2003 loaners (G35 Sedans) had over 20K each.

 

40+ miles on mine due to a dealer trade. Infiniti seems to have pre-designated test driver cars for the most part, but I hope whoever was driving mine for whatever reason, rode her hard!!!
