Steering Wheel Swap

Hey!! Has anyone done a steering wheel swap on a 2003 or 2004 coupe? And by that I mean swapped to a 2005 or 2006 wheel? I'm asking because if I recall correctly, the 2005 and up wheels have the light up buttons. 2004 and under do not. I swapped over but the buttons don't light up. Is there any other special wiring you need to do? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!

There is a thread here in the forum where someone did this exact swap....I'd recommend a search because it had really good pics where they showed which wires to route to get the buttons to light.

Awesome!! Thanks!! I actually bought a 05 steering wheel and plugged it in and nothing happened. Do you know how people are getting the blue colored lights instead of the amber?

Only one who has that is AccordFreak - he is the lighting king. Totally custom job...need some serious skills for that.

Hey elrooko. I went here to source out the switches for the swap:

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...&siteid=214252

And typed in 25550-AC700 and I got a few choices. Do you know which one it is that I'm supposed to use? Thanks again for all your help.

Steering wheel - Steering wheel and trim - Cruise switch - W/audio control
W/audio control 2005

Honestly - I would call the guys at Riverside Infiniti before you buy anything. The prices they give to forum members is usually better than anything you will find online. PM Rick@RiversideInfiniti
