Hey everyone,
my coupe was due in next week, just got a call from the dealer it seems that there was an accident of some kind and my coupe was ruined... my order was for a Bsilver/graphite/5AT/premium/nav/aero & wheel package.
They appologized to no end, and have offered me the same coupe with the exception of the nav, which they have in stock.
for a significant discount because of the accident.
i really wanted the nav, but the deal they are offering me is to good to pass up.. Does anyone know of an aftermarket nav, that will fit in the coupe cubby hole. Also do you guys think i should take the offer they are giving me..
(i really dont want to wait another 2 months for my order..

Well, if the deal is good enough, I'd take it! I got everything but nav on my coupe and haven't missed it. So if you can get a good deal, go for it.

Also, for less than a $1000, you can get a new Pocket PC and a mobile GPS Nav system that you can use in the car AND unplug and take with you on your travels.

 

How much was the deal?

Then they just told you it was in an accident and gave you a deal on one without a nav because it's no loss to them.

So far looks good! I've seen it being pe-sold at $450 online, it will be available at chain stores like Best Buy, Fry's, Circuit City, CompUSA, etc.

well they actually are knocking off almost 4thousand off the price of a fully loaded coupe w/o the nav.. i really had my heart set on the nav.. but the important thing to me is the car itself, its one sweet ride...

 

WOW 4 THOUSAND!!!!!! TAKE IT! SCREW THE NAVIGATION!!! thats the largest take-off MSRP i have seen on the G! $1,500 was the largest i've seen until now!

Thats what i was thinking rambo, i called the dealer back and told him to save the car im going to go in monday and finalize everything. thanks on the link to the garmin, looks like a nice one. so barring any problems il be driving the G by next week..

 

If you're getting $4k off MSRP, there's no decision to make. BUY IT.

You could even turn around and sell it immediately and make a quick 3.5-4k.

Im gonna go for it, and with the money saved. im thinking about getting the kenwood navigation system put in.. from what i read on this site it seems to fit nicely...
Probably after 2 mins driving the G , ill forget all about the nav.. )
