everytime i shut down the car...i get a rattle sound..anybody have that?

 

push the clutch in when you shut it off, it won't happen

it's the clutch rattling, everyone has it, it's normal

 

o snap lol thanx actually one more question when my car is runnin on neutral i get this knockin sound like the belts or something anybody have that problem??

 

lol a lot of us get that too

it only happens to me when im idling around 600 rpm

no check engine light or anything, so i don't think it's a big deal.

 

yea i just find it wicked annoyin and i already had somebody ask me abt it kinda embaressing.... i dunno maybe ill get it checked out

 

You are using 91 or higher octane right?

 

yea i use 93 only never went lower...

 

Well I would certainly take it in if it's knocking or rattling. Don't want to mess around there. You did stick your head under the hood right? Can you tell where it might be coming from?

 

if it was knock, the check engine light would turn on

 

i did open the hood and check its weird cant tell ..sometimes i think its the belts or beneath the engine like the exhaust ...i got a warrenty so i think ill just run it to the dealer..and btw am i gonna have problems wit the warrenty if i have cold air intake...

 

not really my 03 coupe knocks with no check engine light i took it in and was told it was the quality of gas here in NM which i think is a lie cus other 03's here dnt have the same knocking sound

 

They may bark at you about it but heck they do that when you use a different than OEM air filter . Just blow it off and and be cool but it does not void the warranty that I am aware of.
