Welcome!! I am the opposite I just picked up an 2008 E90 335i sedan. I still have my G as it has evolved into my project car so I needed a new DD. But after driving the G35 everyday for 5 years (which I loved), I must say I am loving the change to the 335i. The car is rock solid and fast as hell. Faster than I thought it would be.
Anyways good luck with the G. It is a fabulous car, and I think you will love it. Let the modding begin!!

oh yeah 335's are almost as fast as the e46 m3, faster after only a software upgrade. i'm sure it's a noticable diff between the speed of the g35 vs 335, but how noticable would you say it is?

BMWs are just so expensive to fix and work on, I am so glad to finally not have one. Even though I love their style. I definately rec. the switch, I even had an E46 M3 pull up to me the other night and compliment me on my car. Good luck.

. I would say my G35 handles better due to my suspension mods. But I am in the process of building the G with TT's...so eventually the G will be faster.
