Comm error

Anyone know what this error means if it was pulled by the dealer after my check engine soon light came on? The dealer said that the techs were briefed very quickly on this peticular error and don't recall the meaning other than it's a communication issue. It didn't effect the drivablity or performance and came up after having the new 04 automatic shift software downloaded into my 03 and my 15k service done. By the way for those interested in the upgrade, it does improve the quickness of a shift almost like you've done a reset and the car goes back to aggressive mode. Although without a sure fire way of checking on an upgrade like that you've got to wonder sometimes if nothings been done and that your car running better is just a figment of your imagination.

Re: Comm error

Mine threw the code as well right after I had my TCU re-flashed. The tech told me what it meant, but I don't remember what he said. It has to do with the re-flash.

The dealer didn't seem like it was a big deal but on the flip side when they don't know much about it and they've never seen it before it kinda makes you wonder.
