i was driving in the rain today and i noticed the wipers dont work very well. Everything in front of me looked real blury.Do any of you have or had this problemo? It seems the water wasnt pushing off smooth it just made everything seem worse.Mabe its just me.

maybe someone switched out wipers with you. Mine work great. I actually don't like using wipers at all, but these are smooth and make the window crystal clear.

I'm guessing your in So Cal. cuz it was raining hard here today. I was out in the G all day and did notice when it was really raining hard that the windshield got blury. I think some Rain-X should fix that.

yeah, get a carwash, and clean your windshields good, then put rainX on your front and rear windshields.....you'll never stop using RainX once you start! i've been using it for over a year now, i love it! i apply it every 2 months, although in the winter its hard to put on because i cant seem to keep my car clean enough in the cold weather heh

1) check your wiper's integrity, make sure the rubber isnt ripped or anything
2) take a wet paper-towel and wipe with a sliding motion from top to bottom on the rubber (to clean it)
3) reseat the wipers back on the glass gently

if that doesnt work, then rainX is the way to go

Another thing.. make sure you turn the defroster on with the A/C. Our cars seem to really like to fog up on the inside, and doing this will help clear things up. I have drivern mine in the rain a lot and not had a problem.

 

Usually don't use them unless I am behind someone on the freeway. But when I do, no problems

Thank god I don't have to worry about that too much in AZ!!! But wow it's raining hard right now---will have to go test the wipers out. But on the other hand I just washed the car.................!!

If you've never used rain-x, let alone even heard of it then you're in for a real treat. It's a chemical that is like super wax for the windshield (F/B). The water just runs right off the glass and 9 times out of 10, you won't need your wipers in the rain. It comes in a yellow bottle with a black top and you can find it virtually anywhere that carries automotive supplies (ie. - walmart, autozone, advanced auto parts, pepboys.....) Please note, YOU WILL BE HOOKED on it for life!!!

Rain-X, and Rain-Away are rain dispersants that are easily applied to all your car windows and headlights. They help disperse rain and improve visibility. If applied properly, in some conditions, it works so well that you don't need the wipers on. Should be available at most hardware and auto parts stores. I try to keep my wipers clean,adjusted properly, and in good shape too.

the wipers come with a sealant to protect the rubber. after using the wipers for a while, they will start working really well.

hey I used the wipers for the very first time today. I thought they worked great. The wiper was great at evacuating water. One thing I noticed...everytime you turn the wipers off the lever goes a bit far up ang gives you the extra sweep. Anyone notice that?

Yeah mine does that too. The switch for the wipers is weird. Rain-X time!
