better fuel delivery...?
how do you know you are running lean? dyno log with air/fuel? in dash air/fuel gauge?
the stock ecu has enough resolution to account for lil changes like exhaust and spacers.
otherwise you have to get a $500 ecu reflash, 700$ utec, or some other EMS with tuning capabilities costing at least that much.

I would not worry about running lean with those types of mods. The ECU is sophisticated enough to compensate for that. I would also think the it would adapt after driving so that a reflash would not be necessary either, but I am not speaking from experience here. It may help optimize the fuel delivery some, but you won't cause any damage if you don't do it. The way I see it is, if the ECU can compensate between temperature extremes of below freezing to 100+ air temps and large elevation changes, then a free breathing mods would be a no brainer.
