2nd Gear is howling from 2000rpm
I was just wondering if it is normal that my 2nd gear is howling everytime I go over 2000rpm.It lasts up to 6000rpm until I shift in the 3rd gear. Its not that loud but I hear it every time when Im driving without any music.
I have a 2006 Coupe 6MT.I this isnt normal will it help to change the transmission oil?!I can shift all gears properly until now.

not quite sure what you mean.... is it a whistling noise that sounds like its coming from under the hood? if so, its from the stock airbox which has a whistle in it and its normal
if thats not what you mean, then i dunno

hmm it is hard to explain but I think it comes definitely from the transmission.the whistling from the airbox would be always there not only in the second gear or am I wrong with this opinion?
I haven't heard that noise but every time I shift into second at a slow speed and start to accel just a little bit i hear this like clunking noise coming from the gear box i think but if im going from first to 2nd under hard accel. then it doens't happen
I am having the same noise from my 6MT. If you are in second and low RPMs and then punch it still in 2nd, it makes that noise, right?
