Buying Parts off of totaled cars
Getting parts off of totaled cars. Is it possible to call a collision center (or wherever cars go when totaled) and say hey, I want those 19" rims for my 18", I'll give you my 18" rims and 500 cash? Is there any possiblity they would accept?

The main 2 parts I'm looking for would be trading in OEM 18's for OEM 19's and 04 lights for 06 projectors and 06 tails. There's A LOT of places around here that have totaled cars, and some look shady but I don't even care.

I figure if I can get the wheels, headlights, and taillights off of some car that's gonna be scrapped anyway, it will be much, much cheaper. I plan on totally blacking my car out, like Black Rain(except mine's gonna be a coupe), and the rims will def. be the first step, and I wanna paint the headlights so I gotta wait for projectors so I can sell the old ones or trade them for someone who's parting out the car.
I'm a college student so money is a little tight, but I will def. have enough to afford the car. Thanks for the advice though.
well just take your time in finding what you want. there are people selling their g's all the time. you might even get lucky and get a 06 with the options you want for cheap. from experience, be patient on what you want to buy.
