any1 that has NRG hood Shock and SEIBON HOOD combo?

i heard the SEIBON CF hood are not to be use with those aftermarket Hood shocks... is it true? is there any1 running similar setup ? any inputs?

I have heard that it will cause stress cracks from the pressure

NRG released another version of their hood shocks that is safe for fiberglass hoods.

Either v1 or v3. Definitely not v2.

I don't know how to tell which version just by looking at them. The v1 was very low pressure. Suitable for CF hoods but a bit weak for OEM hoods. v2 was much stronger. Perfect for OEM hoods but too strong for CF hoods. v3 is a compromise and is claimed to be suitable for either OEM of CF hoods.

I had to removed the struts off my cf trunk!!! Way to much pressure!!!
