I would never buy cheap headers for this car. Install is very difficult and expensive so get good ones the first time to avoid paying to reinstall after some cheap ones crack

if your paying 400-500 to install your headers you might as well pay the extra 300 dollars for a quality set that has some kind of guarantee involved

theres all kinds of cheap *** headers out there for the g but if you look at anyones car that has a ton of stuff youll never see some ebay scrap headers

If headers and cats didn't crack so easily with this car, I wouldn't mind Megan, Top Speed, etc... But you can get DC headers starting at well under $500, and most of the other headers are copies of their design...

And I'm not sure about coupes, but we lifted my motor a bit to install my headers.

If you have a choice, I would suggest ceramic coated over brushed or polished. You can't see these headers so looks are pointless. Ceramic coated headers are usually less likely to crack.

I would def reccomend finding a used set of ceramic DC's on the forum. There have been quite a few lately. The topspeed are Chinese made and might be difficult to handle in a warranty situation. New DC's are Chinese made too, so look for an older used set. I got mine used last year for $250

you can...they might last forever, but if they crack it will cost you alot in the long-run

It'll cost you about 500 to almost 1k to do headers depending on the shop, unless you do it yourself... and even then you're looking at at least a day of work, especially if you install them yourself. So IMO, paying a bit more for quality headers is worth it in the long run. I've gone through so many sets of HFCs and test pipes (one set cracked the second day I had it on) that I personally wouldn't want to take the risk with cheap quality headers.
