tint is illegal on front windows in cali. at best some may say 70% but thats pretty much just your window anyway.

i don't know about cali but i have a black 06 6mt and i put 5% all the way around with a 6" strip on the visor that is below the AS1 line on the windshield. i don't think its that bad at night to see out and i have never had any problems with the popo...even stopped next to them at night at redlights with windows up...they don't care.

yep no tint alloud at all on your front windows in cali. but i dont care because i use to have 35% on the front and got a ticket. so why not have limo if you can have 35% and still get a ticket 35% is light. so my new plan is limo on driver/passanger double limo on quarter panels and limo on the rear and then 55% on the windshield. i love my tint guy haha

let me get your guys opinions

i live in san jose, california
worth it, NO. Get the legal amount or nothing. It's not worth the hassle. Any tint makes you a cop magnet and increases suspicion...

It will look good, but if you live in CA I wouldn't do it. So many people here have posted about the tint tickets they've received. If you really want to get tint, don't go that dark anyway because it will be a royal PITA to see at night.

I got 5% tint and I live in Texas. My G is black and 5% looks real good on it, but be careful @ night to roll down your windows. I reverse once and almost hit a car without rolling the window down and i nearly missed it. Plus when people look at your car and try to look at you, they look away real fast since they can't see the driver. really funny to me and I always roll down when I see a cop.

I think I have 10%, came like that from the dealership, and I still have trouble seeing at night, if you get 5%, good luck with that.
