I don't have a G35c yet... however I want one with all the works (near 37K MSRP from the website)... I am looking for as much advice from this experienced forum as possible!

I never knew how in demand they were... I was hoping at first to drop that 37K tag to 33K out the door--however now it seems as though I've been on crack for thinking like that...

I am in the SOCAL area and am curious as to what your guy's experiences are, and around what price tag I'm looking at to landing this GEM!!

Very difficult to get anything off sticker. Especially for those of us who bought 03's. I got $500 off that was it. Some who bought 04's got a little bit more off.

Wow right at MSRP? That is quite steep for me at this time... altho I am willing to work with it... did anybody do a great job with getting it 2-3K off the MSRP? Or is that not even possible w/ this vehicle... thanks!

 

you might try other dealerships in other cities. They may be willing to negotiate since you would be giving them business that they would otherwise not get. I had an offer for 1000 off but it was 1500 miles away. By the time I flew there and spent money for gas as well as consideringt he value of my time, it wasn't worth if for just 1K off compared to 500 off locally. (At that time I also had quotes for 500 and 1000 above sticker). But that's not to say you can't find somethig closer by. But it will be tough to negotiate with the local dealerships.

Check into the VPP. You'd be suprised at the companies that are considered "partners" of Nissan. My wife works for a medical testing lab and her company was on the list. If I recall correctly, it came out to about $2500 off sticker for our Coupe.

Since I'm linking to a Grubbs site, I might suggest if you don't qualify for VPP, try Grubbs in DFW. They can get you the best price and ship the car out to you. Many people have done that with favorable results.

I just purchased new 04 brilliant silver coupe. Sticker is $36,000 I believe. Everything except navi and spoiler. I was able to work off a little over $1,500 and did a deal of $34,500. Very pleased overall. Good luck, however i live in Ohio, not sure how good the deals will be over there.

 

i paid list price, but they gave me 11000 for my trade-in which was valued at 9200 at kbb and 8000 at carmax....i think i could have gotten near 2k off if i didnt do a trade-in....chicago.

 

I got $1700 off the sticker price. The guy gave me 1200 off right off the back and I just juiced him for another 500. But I bought it in Birmingham AL. Yea the fookin south. I guess it's not that much in demand down here cuz pple are ignorant and poor. And by the way I'm stations in MS by the air force so I'm not here by choice.
