Need help plz

Infiniti has been trying to fix a ses light that has been on. They first replaced the sensor, they have reset the system, and its been back and forth for 4 times already. They have called tech line multiple times and no clue. So this last time they had it for 3 weeks and had a tech come look at it from the main corp headquarters. He said my z-tube w/ pop charger is causing it. They said the stock intake tube has a hose that allows warm water into the throttle body to warm it. They said the z-tube doesn't have a spot for it and that is causing the problem. They said i have to put the stock intake system back on to show that its not the problem.

Problem is i trashed it a year ago when I installed the pop charger. Funny thing is I have not had a problem until after having it on for 7 months. I have never heard of water in my intake tube to warm the throttle body. Anyone with any ideas or a stock intake FS in socal?

Im into cars and have worked on plenty to know this sounds like BS, but maybe I lack infinti skills and I could be wrong. Any advice would be great or any experience with this problems. Oh and they SES light comes out with a intake leak and everytime I have been to nissan or infiniti they say its a bad sensor or wiring.

You might have installed your MAF sensor in upside down

Yea, try flipping it around, disconnect the neg cable on your battery for 10 minutes, then hook it back up

He is referring to the throttle body coolant hose. This has nothing to do with the intake tube. It is attached to the throttle body. Go to the diy section and download the service manual. Get familiar with the intake duct and manifold.

you say the code thrown was for intake leak? Loosen adjust then reconnect and inspect all intake clamps. Make sure it is air tight. Coolant line to throttle body has nothing to do with z-tube. But if you have the bypass, open the line if it gets colder than 55 degrees. MAF should only fit on one way but check to see it is fully connected. Infiniti should have done this but after inspecting everything is connected snugly, reset ECU via battery disconnect or ignition/pedal reset....hope this helps.

Thx for all the advice. MAF is on right. The service guy showed me that the tech is blaming the bypass valve that came with the motordyne spacer. They told me when I picked it up that they dont know if thats the problem, but until it is all back to stock that is going to be their diagnosis. I have checked the intake and so has a mechanic at a local nissan. He even installs the spacers all the time and said nothing was wrong with mine and had no idea why it was doing this. He did think it could be a bad MAF sensor. Anyone know of a good shop in socal that could help or knows a lot about the spacer combo I have.
