The oil consumption issue is mainly with the Revup motors, so they're all manual trannies. Although there are cases where the other motors have a similar issue.

0-60 times are more dependant on the driver than on the engine. Get the one you're comfortable with.

and if you are buying used and the buyer is honest and has had no problems with it you are probably safe plus with the newer ones you are still under warranty. i got my 05 this past summer with 37k on it and no problems with oil consumption and i still have warranty as well
