HELP! Immobilizer triggered?

I'm afraid that I may have triggered the immobilizer in my G35 I had a new key cut/programmed yesterday and it worked initially, from the locksmith back to work, but when I attempted to leave for lunch the car wouldn't start.. just turns over but never catches & alarm light stays on. This happened before and usually I'd just use my original key and it'd turn on but this time it doesn't.. both keys exhibit the same symptoms.

What I've do so far..

Disconnected battery and pumped brakes to clear the capacitors

Used keyfob to lock / unlock car with several door close / opens.

Held one key under the steering wheel while I try to start the car with the other..

I called the locksmith and they can send someone out to reprogram the key but they're not sure it'll work as it might be the car instead of the key

Any advice? Thanks!!!

Tried this, from page GI-3 of the FSM

● When failing to start the engine first time using the key of NVIS/IVIS (NATS), start as follows.
1. Leave the ignition key in "ON" position for approximately 5 seconds.
2. Turn ignition key to "OFF" or "LOCK" position and wait approximately 5 seconds.
3. Repeat step 1 and 2 again.
4. Restart the engine while keeping the key separate from any others on key-chain.

didn't work though.. gonna try the manual code reset method listed here tomorrow: http://www.g37-tech.com/wiki/How_To:ECU_Reset_Procedure

Guess it's off the stealership or back to the locksmith after that..

Think I'm gonna call the locksmith to reprogram my Ilco as the computer may be a-ok.. are you hal?
