Headlight bulb question

Hey guys, wondering if you can help me out. I've been on Sylvania's website to look for the bulb that sits on the outer side of the headlight. I am unable to find the size or bulb number. When you have the parking lights on, I am referring to the bulb that lights the strip on the side of the headlight. I'm not sure the proper name for it, whether it be city lights or what (on my 04 coupe). I would like to replace the bulb with an LED in each headlight. Curious as to whether someone can give me the bulb number, or the LED bulb number that I can replace it with? I could always take my wheel and liner in the wheel well off to get to the bulb, but I thought i'd turn to you guys first. Thanks

They're T10 LED bulbs. Best bet to replace them is to just reach behind the headlight assembly. You might have to take out a few bolts on the headlight assembly to get to them. Would recommend using some gloves because it is very hard to get to them and quite uncomfortable but in my opinion much easier than taking the wheel well out and going through all of that. I've switched them out twice this way. Let me know if you got any questions

hey 03g....thanks for the help, I'm going to try that. I will let you know how it goes. I didn't think it was possible to get to the bulb without going through the hassle of taking the wheel off. I will hopefully have pics soon. Thanks again.

That strip is called the Clearance strip. At least that's what everyone calls it on the forums. And you can do it without removing the wheel well, but it can be hard.
