Are all VQ35DE ECU's the same???
hey guys,
I've been reading a lot about the ECU flashing for my 03 G35 coupe 6mt. I had a few questions answeed but have a few more. I'd rather buy an extra ECU to tune and have my stock one as a spare. Do I have to buy an ECU specifically from a 03 G35 Coupe 6mt? or will any ( maxima, altima, g35 sedan, 350Z 2002-2007 ) work for my 03 g35 coupe 6MT.
Also, if anyone has any knowledge, what are the hp and trq gains on a stock g35 with the L-spec tune ( meaning just the 100% wot and the 7100rpm redline ) ??
Thanks

And each ECU is only compatible with the car it came with for the G35's. So I heard. Any correct me if I'm wrong. In other words I was told if I bought another ECU from a wrecked G35 it would not work with my G35. They can however clone your ECU at Altered Atmosphere Motorsports if you want to have an original and have one tuned.
