Ref shaking- get the tires rebalanced. After one season, I had mine redone this spring and both rears needed weights. Big wheels and big speed makes minor imbalances readily noticeble. From the factory, the first thing I took the car in for under warrantee was rebalancing, and at that time, all four were off.

Answer to original Q- all the way to the top. But not for long as I had traffic ahead. Car is as smooth there as at normal cruise- one hand on the wheel. (except the scenery is whipping by like crazy). Man does the speed limit feel slow afterwards, huh?

150 MPH @ 7000 rpms in fourth gear for my modded coupe running 18's. Ran into traffic before I could hit fifth. It's amazing how quickly cars approach @ that speed!! BTW - didn't take me too long ( was cruising @ 85 mph & decided "why not?" ) & the G was very stable all the way.

 

145 on a stretch of the IN 80/90 toll road. Had to back down cause the plane they fly over the highway to catch speeders was circling back around.
