Two bikers and an a$$4 - long

Was on my way home yesterday from the Lime Rock race track after spending the day with Notlownf and Whitetrack.
For anyone who is familiar with the Merritt pkwy in CT, I was going south by Norwalk, Cruising at about 70mph minding my own, where all of the sudden I see a black S4 (00'-03') merging the highway from the right.
Since I was going at 70, I left him behind but not before I got to take a glimpse at his aftermarket wheels and his cocky look - didn't finish my thought, and this guy crosses the white solid strip on the merging lane and guns it just so he can sit on my a$$. He got me pissed since he was riding so close that I couldn't even see his headlights. He was there for about 30 seconds when all of the sudden the clown decides to pass me on the right. Under different circumstances, I wouldn't even care, it's just that 50 ft ahead there was a white POS going 50. Knowing this jerk is going to try to cut me off, I said to myself ho no...., dropped it into 3rd, and the Pop Charger woke up to life . He tried really hard but just couldn't make it in time and so he got stuck behind that white POS. At that point, of course the a$$4 changed lanes quickly and got back on my rear again. As soon as the vehicle in front of me moved to the right, I started to accelerate slowly but surly (~75mph). I was about to move to the right lane to let him pass me (my right blinker was already on), but he decided he doesn't want to wait. As soon as he passed that vehicle, the clown tries to pull that stunt again. This time I had no vehicle in front me and both lanes were wide open. At that point I really wanted to see what this a$$4 is capable off. As soon as he straightened line with me, I dropped it into 3rd and off we went. He hung with me for about a second before I started pulling on him pretty good. I red lined it through 3rd and 4th and by the time I hit 5th, the guy was about a good 3-4 car lengths behind. 10 seconds later I couldn't even see him anymore - poor guy, I guess didn't want to show his face.
The funny part was that when I slowed down to about 70 I saw two single headlights closing on me really fast - 2 bikes. The first one, came close and slowed down by my window just so he can give me the thumbs up ! I guess he saw what just happened to the a$$4. I gave him a nice thumbs up for his own ride - a Kawasaki Ninja series (didn't catch the exact model). The guy then looked back to his buddy, gave him a nod, and they both took off. At that point I decided to see if I can hang out with them. Dropped it into 3 and gunned it - to my surprise I was actually able to hang with them ( I guess they didn't go that fast hehe...). They then slowed down, moved to the right and let me pass - As I passed them they both gave me the thumbs up again and I decided to hit it again, and they followed. We did it couple of more times, before we were getting close to my exit, at which point, I turned on my hazard lights. The guys passed by me and the first biker gave me a winning fist and a thumbs up, of course I had to return them for both the rides and the fun.

In the 8 months I've own my G, I got a lot of good comments and thumbs up from other motorists, but that was the first time I got it from bikers. It was sure fun.

Sorry for the long post, just wanted to share this funny story with you.

Nice - way to show the a-4 who the real sedans are made by...

You wish, however, (or I do) that you are on the Ninja when little pesky ****** get on your last nerve....I sure miss my ZX-11. Somebody gets cocky on the open road and they'll think you were a low flying plane as you triple thier speed accelerating by with the sound of formula 1 screaming past....too bad that thing goes so fast or I'd still have her!

great narration, however, being a biker for fourteen years now, i can tell you you'll need at least 800+ HP to make any headway (read: not get blown away) with a literbike (or modern day supersport/superstock for that matter)

lets not argue the facts, perhaps the bikers were more wanting to admire your ride than prove how they can flat out run......

eitherway, nice going and showing!

Re: Two bikers and an a$$4 - long

good kill! ive raced many S4s... older ones, they arnt that fast even off the line (even tho they have awd)... there was this really nice friendly guy i raced... S4 w/ (he told me) sport ECU, chip, CF hood, intake, exhaust... i couldnt pull away until end of 3rd gear...

the new ones... they are really really fast... 340 hp V8? yeah... i couldnt hang w/ them on straight lines... but one thing that suprised me was that... they couldnt corner for shiet! i took this cocky guy on a fast curve (going around 80 mph) his car was loosing grip... he didnt even look at me after i passed him haha!

bikes, no way in hell u can hang w/ them...

No doubt about it. Had these guys wanted, they would have handed me my own a$$ on a nice gold platter .
I'm fully aware of their capabilities (that's why I said that they probably didn't twist their throttle all the way... hehe).
You gotta love those. A few extra bucks ++, -- minus the wife, and I had one of those for myself .
I don't want anyone here think I'm some kind of a kid who thinks he just smoked 2 Kawasakis - I was just playing with them - or actually,
THEY were playing with me.

Just wanted to share my story of playing with those beauties.

Sweet story dude. Bikers are sweet. Too bad I'm a "nice little Jewish boy" and am therefore not allowed to ride a motorcycle.

actually if the B5 (00-03) s3's have those mods, its wayy faster than then new B6 S4's (v8) ecu, intake, ehaust is considered stage 2 plus and get about 360 hps, 400 torque at the crank......my buddy has stage 2 plus and another has a E55 (2003), it hangs wit til til 120 mph and the e55 pulls slowly after......

in response to ure S4 kill, good job. guys that drive reckless like that give us audi drivers a bad name. for g35 to pull at end of 4th should be right, when i race kwak, i have him til 110 then he starts pulling on me,

Re: Two bikers and an a$$4 - long

Good job Daniel, I had a little fun with an audi on the way home also. No racing but about 20 miles from the track an Audi A4 that was modded passed me, and it turned out he had VT plates also. So him and I had some fun passing everyone else for about an hour, and then the wife had to pee so we pulled off.

Some of the pics from Lime Rock are up on the site www.vtg35.com (There's a pretty good pic of you in there) the video should be up today or tomorrow.

LOL, that's funny.
I have some pics too and we'll put them online later on today.
I'm surprised your wife lets you play with other cars on the road. My wife would've ripped my head off . But then again, my wife wouldn't come out to the race track either....LOL
