It seems like im having one problem right after another with the G. Well problem of the week. This has happened before but went away over night. I was driving (not hard just cruising) around 45 mph when i noticed that my speedometer drop to zero, i gave the car gas and the rpms went up but the speedometer dropped to zero and my slip/vdc off lights turned on. Then about 5 min later my rpms drop to zero I give it gas again and the car responds just fine. So in essence, Car drives perfectly but rpm gauge and speedometer dont work, vdc and slip light are also on. Anyone have this problem before or know what the problem might be?

I've had this when I failed to plug the harness all the way in while putting the dash together after taking it apart. This totally disabled most of the electronics in the car(speedometer, lights, stereo, etc.). Took it to the dealer and had the computer replaced.

 

I had a similar problem not to long ago...

I messed up one of my back tires and when I took it to the shop they said they had to order my tire and it wouldn't be there until the next day.

So I had to run on my donut after I left thier parking lot and started to get on the highway my car wouldn't do over 45MPH... If I gave it gas the RPM's would go up but no power would go to my car and my slip light was on as long as i was giving it gas...

So I took the side road back and putted at 45MPH home and back to the shop put my 20" wheel back on with new tire and boom never had the problem again.

YOU HAD THE DEALER REPLACE YOUR COMPUTER INSTEAD OF PLUGGING IT BACK IN?
