hi everyone..i have extra money for now and im wondering which to get first...mrev2 or plenum spacer from motordyne...

get the mrev2 first. you will not see any real power gains with the spacer if you have a rev up motor until you get the mrev anyways, so just add the spacer when you get the money

 

what do you have a revup or non? non go spacer, revup mrev2

+1 on mrev2, i went the same route.

 

I would seriously consider saving up to buy both at the same time so you dont have to do 2x the labor.

 

just go FI. never look back

 

actually, i was a little weary about installing it myself. then i saw that do-it-yourself video, and decided to tackle it myself. i ended up not really needing the instruction booklet except for torque specs and sequence. so i found it very easy, i'm not really that mechanically savy either. just need to look out for torque specs, which bolts go back where, and hoses.

i read some ppl have had trouble with the inner bolts coming loose and needing to recheck after a couple months, so u might want to learn how to take it off anyway, to go back in there and recheck the bolts for tightness (and yes, they even used the blue loctite to keep them in place, still came loose they said). i'll be checking mine, when i get and put my spacer in.

 

What hes said, That's what I did. Do it once, get it over with, get the highest possibe gains. Ain't cheap though.
