Can anyone tell the difference between an original and recall replacement Headlight?

I'm looking to buy a used Headlight on Ebay and I've ask the sellers what the part number is and they can't seem to find it. The only seller on Ebay has brand new Headlights with the Part # B6000-CM40C which is the recall replacements. I'm not sure if they got the number off the box or on the headlight itself.

I'm gonna take out the busted headlight on my car tomorrow but I hope someone can help me tonight.

Also where do you find the part# on our Headlights?

Thank you

Weird......what's up with all of the replies? My mind is playing tricks with me or something? I thought other members and I responded with a whole bunch of replies about this matter. Anyhow, you have 3 threads and all about headlights. What is it with you? If you want a not "illegal" ones then just go to your local dealer. 90%+ other sources are recalled. WTH, use the "search" button and stop creating new threads with the same subject.

They look the same, but the recalled were done so for a reason. They are not aimed properly for the States, and as a result they can blind on coming cars with the glare.....
If you want to do it right.....buy them new from a dealer or reputable source.

EBay headlights....NOT!

From some of the results we've seen here on Driver I wouldn't buy the '06
headlights on eBay. Tony at Riverside Infiniti gives us a major discount on
all items we buy from him 1-800-919-8130. Tony will be able to answer all
your questions about the differences between the headlights.

LOL...I didn't even notice the link...I've read that before, you know that she did most of the work herself right? Including the F/I... No body able to prove that it was from the faulty aiming 06 headlights beside she thought so. And of course the insurance will blame on anything to get out of it. Even on the recall bulletin, Nissan didn’t state anything about flaming headlights; they just stated “improper aim and light output”. If something that major, they would have said like “The headlight units’ cause fire and maybe even accident”. Beside her car which had done engine works (didn’t tuck well or good soldering), I have not heard another G got burnt from the faulty headlight units.

Send a PM to redlude97 he knows whats up with the recalled lights... its more than just the improper aiming of the lights.
