Its been 2 weeks now and I love it...and I have only been driving for 2 weeks! I will be drifting and doing donuts before the month is up....don't get an auto if you love cars and driving.
To add to what I said earlier about getting a manual. I failed to mention that I have a automatic sedan as a beater car, which helped a lot in the decision to get a manual. If I was only going to have the G coupe...I would have to think much harder about getting a manual/auto. I live in a heavy traffic area and I still haven't mastered talking on the massive iphone and driving at the same time..(its only been 2 weeks) I probably will learn to get around that too. The 6mt is soo much fun though, I wouldn't buy that car again unless it was a manual.

the 6MT is more fun and definitely more respectable
not to mention you gain over 20hp just by getting the manual transmission..
you will get used to the traffic but if you live in new york city or some other metropolis,
(where there is no open road and only traffic) then get the auto...
thats what I would do..

6MT!!!!!! had so many people tell me they wish they got 6mt rather than auto. auto feels so bland. as far as talking on the phone.. it feels so normal driving 6mt and talking on the phone. u get used to multi tasking.

depends on what year. i know my 04 6mt comes with 287 hp and a bit more torque than the 05 (rev up engines) and i'd rather opt for torque rather than 15 hp.

isnt that what they do at the dealer ship? sell u ****.. of course their gonna tell u ur as fast as any other car on the road "exact comment dealer tried to pitch me". but u are there is a diff between 6mt rev up and auto revup G's.. not sure and dont quote me but there is a upside and a downside to having a downside i think something like more torque on MT and more hp on auto..

It sounds like I would be cheating myself out of a lot of fun if I bought an auto, Thanks to all your input I have decided to go manual. Now I'm on the hunt for a car. What's this about the hp/torque differences between years? Is there any way to find out concrete details about these stats?
