A scratch? NOOOOO!!!
A scratch? NOOOOO!!!
Ok I have commited the utltimate sin. I was trying to manuver my car into the garage and wasn't paying attention. Luckily I just barely, BARELY, rubbed it on the wall. So now there is just a little abbrasion about an inch long. Doesn't seem like it went deep at all. Is there any way to "buff" the abbrasion out or something. I was actually able to get most of the wall paint off there is still a small mark. Suggestions?

Is the wall painted? Maybe some nail polish remover/paint thinner can do the trick, of course you have to repolish the area afterwards

Yeah the sheet rock was painted so the abbrasion is like white scuff. I am kinda worried about using chemicals on the paint though. What is a clay bar and where do you get it? Will the car need to be repolished after the claybar?

I would try 'clay bar' like Obsidian suggested. It's a surface cleaning bar of clay that can clean painted surfaces and remove some contaminants. Just follow the instructons.
Available at your local auto parts store or detailing shop.
I personally use Zaino but there are others available.
Good luck, bro

Meguiar's Scratch X may also be able to help you out if the scratch is not that deep. As with the other methods, you will need to wax over it afterwards.
