Plan of attack...

Should be picking up my 05 G35 after I get back from the field (in a few weeks) and gonna drop a little money into it... here's what's planned thus far.

Phase 1
1. MD Spacer 5/16
2. MRev
3. Exhaust (x02... I know you get what you pay for... but that's what I can afford)
4. Intake... really like the K&N as far as how it looks... ideas/suggestions/comments? link to K&N
5. Osiris Reflash... (gonna drop it by Z1 and have them do it in house and do a few dyno pulls)

Phase 2
6. Spacers 15f-20r (might step it up another 5mm, but staying with stock wheels... any input on this?)
7. 350z Tein H techs (and an alignment naturally)

Phase 3
8. HFCs

After that I'm planning on calling it pretty much good lol... hoping for 270-280 whp outta everything... and hoping that can get me into mid 13's.

We'll call this the "Pre purchase wish list!"

Keep one thing in mind, you're buying a quality coupe that's already been
made very well. Buying cheap mods is a down grade and only hurts performance and the car. Making the correct mods takes some research
and you can find the answers to your questions by using the SEARCH button.
Here's how I modded my coupe....Stillen intake (incl. K&N filter) and Z tube,
MotorDyne spacer ISO and HKS dual exhaust. That's a good place to start....

Good plan, I would save the reflash for last after all performance mods. I would wait and get a good exhaust...the forum is your friend, you could probably find a better one for the same price you want to pay. For the intake I hear good things about the jwt pop charger with the 350z z tube. Um it might be a good idea to get the hfc's the same time you get your exhaust so you can do it at the same time...imo

From research on the forums the mod list in the op made 278 in a 04 Z... and that's my goal and haven't really found anything negative on here besides it rusts, a hanger needs to be rewelded and the tips need to be replaced with some better units. Also, from my understanding with the basic breather mods the G's runs lean so that's the reason for the flash in stage one (naturally it would be the last thing done hense the reason it was listed last on that phase)... other than that I also really like the looks of the HKS and the sound that the x02 produces so I can really say that I could justify saving for an extra year (can only afford to throw back a bill a month unfortunately) to get the HKS.

Flash comes after HFC, in my opinion.

Good start, but i would go with 25mm spacers all the way around for stock wheels

so... i'm good then well as long as the Army keeps me down here...

And by all means say whatever you like supercharged...

And yeah I would agree with you about the flash coming after the HFCs... but a tune would definately help... and who knows I might just throw some test pipes on when I put the exhaust on... Don't have veh. inspections where I'm stationed at now and they're inexpensive.
