Ok great thanks for the info, there is a local tuner/dealer of uprev here so I would prefer to get it on a dyno vs an etune but I will make that last on my list.

Thanks!

Anyone know about the A&M angled spacer over the basic 5/16?
Not sure if you're a member on 6mt or not but I sold my AAM spacer to a guy on there before installing it. You can ask him about the results. It's supposed to be the best 5/16 one because it evens out the flow to the front 2 cylinders so the a/f ratio is the same as the other 4. His name is venomgt9

Alright I'm making up my mind. I'm going to order the MREV and spacer from CZP(they have a good price w/free ship right now.)

Or do i need to get an exhaust first as i am getting more in the front but cant get it out the back. I only have HFC and 3" y-pipe.

Do you have a website for those JVT headers. As for the spacer and Rev2. You won't find a better price. I've looked high and low. The savings just isn't that significant to justify buying from 2 different sites but, if you do find a good deal please let us all know. The plenum spacer and Rev2 are on my to do list for this years mods.

Stock exhaust flows fine. Can probably handle 300whp

Yea I edited my post on seperating the two. It turned out to be 3 bux. I think now is a good for the two from CZP.(basic spacer without isothermal.)

I just want to make sure I choose which would be best between finishing the exhaust or getting the manifold.

I assume you have a 6MT, which is why you're getting the MREV? In any case, I would just finish the exhaust before you put everything else on. HFC and bigger y-pipe will throw off the airflow a little (due to mismatched piping diameters, causing too much restriction at the rear section) with the stock exhaust. Not an entirely big deal, but I had the same thing (test pipes/aftermarket y-pipe with stock midpipe & muffler) for a while and it sounded horrible and I felt some power loss.

You rang? haha
But on a serious note, spacer rocks! Match it with either a MREV2 or NON-REV lower plenum (for us REV-UP drivers) and you're set. Side note, be sure to reset the ECU or you will go into limp mode...kinda got carried away and forgot

No there is NO jvt racing website. If you search google all you find are vendor sites, which give the same old run down I.e. Best proformace, design, SS metal. But even vendor has the bish listed for 300-350 buck. I'm just affaid to touch them because I can't find info about the Quality of the metal.

Yes I am aware the 3" section goes into a 2.5 or something into the resonator. I did not notice any power loss but i thought the throttle blips seemed more responsive. I have been thinking on putting back the factory y because there is a slight rasp at 4k-6k.

Headers are very difficult and costly to install and yield marginal gains for the work involved in upgrading them...If you're looking to maximize your HP then go for it, but if you don't care about the numbers too much then most people don't bother with it. A quality set of headers can run you over $900. Most of the stuff floating around with no brand most likely comes from ebay.

I need to educate myself more on are cars before I dive into upgraded cams. Cost to install, what's that! This country boy isn't afraid to bust a$$ and do his own work.

Exhaust or suspension upgrade

So it's tax return season and I'm looking to splurge a little bit. I can't decide whether I want to get a TDX2 exhaust or go for a full suspension and handling upgrade. If I get the exhaust my next step is a tune, if I go for handling that sets me back a few steps for that, but the consensus seems to be our cars need that handling upgrade. What's your guys thoughts?
