Wow you're all over the place Intake headers lambo doors, all completely different with price ranges from $150-$1500

Lambo doors - NO
Intake - Z-tube and drop in filter, stillen, or jwt pop charger
Headers - Get all other bolt-ons before even thinking about headers. Laboe alone almost makes getting headers pointless!!!

z-tube + KN dropin or jwt pop will get you a few, nothing you're going to really feel at the pedal.

Can you link to a post of what car you have, what mods you already have? And to each their own, but lambo doors on a G make me cry

And as a general aside, there seems to be some misconceptions about bolt ons and the G. The G is actually a fairly well designed car, it's not an economy class civic - you can't just bolt on IHE and go tada! That said, apart from lower plenum, plenum spacer, high flow air filter, test pipes/high flow cat, the rest is splitting hairs and changing sound for a NA engine. One can argue a case for headers and exhaust, but the money your looking at for marginal wheel-power gains (aesthetics and sound aside) is typically offputting unless you're baller status.

If you want to put more power to the wheels you start getting into lightweight flywheels and pulleys, but this is a whole different monster (PITA/$$$).

Otherwise, you gotta to pony up for some FI

totally understandable. I love how my stock exhaust sounds right now.

I just want to make it meaner. I think my only engine mod will just be a Z-tube. WHich model K&N dropin did you get FFlavor? I still have a brand new Amsoil Drop In Filter, so I dont know if I should just stick with it or get the K&N.

Im no baller. Im just happy enough to own a G and a Mortgage. LOL To each there own.

I dont know much about the amsoil filter, but if it's movin some air i don't think you need to bother swapping it out. The stock g-tube has a big *** cancerous-looking resonator box on it to help tone down the noise, the z-tube / stillen-tube basically removes this box, which in turn helps with the air-flow characteristics some, as well as giving you a little more agressive tone. People say the conical filters like the JWT and KN cone one give more flow, but i like the idea of the stock ducting with the gialla grill just sucking in cold air like a vacuum on christmas morning, where as a cone is prone to take in some engine heat (JWT shield is kinda crappy - some people have modded the stillen box to work with a cone filter). I just use the regular ol' KN washable dropin.

Oh and edit, I don't what emissions tests are like in Mass, but some resonated test pipes or highflow cats will probably give you the sound you're looking for, without breaking the bank (100-300~ bucks + some socket wrenchs + 1 - 6 beers ).

I was advised by one of my knowlegeable bros that headers on our rides are really labor intensive to install due to not much space to work in.. They'd have to drop the engine to work on them.. Most shops won't even work on headers for our cars.. So what the previous gentleman said was very accurate.. do EVERYTHING ELSE you can do first before that..

Intake is VERY much so easiest and prolly most cost effective of your 3 choices.. If you have a wrench and a few hours, you're good to go there.. And the sound will make you VERY excited..

Lambo Doors? nah man.. you're on your own there.. Don't ghey out your car mayne.. don't even do it to ya'self..

Come on man... NO.. please don't.. I mean it's your car.. but that'll REALLY make your car look cheap.. you said it yourself.. "it's just 100 bucks".. Is that really the first thing you want people to notice about your car? That grill detracts from the nice lines of the ride mayne..

I almost did a blacked out + fuji stocker, I think that looks very nice with some of the car colors.

Emblemless + blacked out stocker also can look really nice too.

You don't gotta spend alot of money (sand paper, plastic primer, rattle can) to get a nice look without looking like cheesy rice (damn now im gettin hungry).

the gialla grill is above all the sexiest grill for our car imo. and yes headers and not really worth the headache for the install. as hard as is was to reach the cat bolts i cant even imagine what the header bolts would be like ive heard time of 9 hours for headers being fast. not worth it for 2 hp max imo

Yea so maybe the Lambo doors were a bad idea haha. And as for the headers, I have a cat back exhaust already in place so i heard that headers will significantly add to that.

As far as Intake goes...any suggestions on the best product for power?
