Just got my G. Hear me out, yeah?

Hey all.

First off, want to say thank you to all that post in this forum. You all helped me make this very easy decision even easier.

Next, i love this car. This is a car. Wait, it shouldn't even be called a car. It's a masterpiece.

My G:
Diamond Graphite 6mt with Navi, Premium, Splash Guards.

Here's a question:

How bad is it to stall your car? I've stalled it like 6 times since i got the car. (Learned stick just recently) I'm hearing people that normally drive stick will stall this car when they first get it. I'm getting better

Wouldn't worry about it, i'm sure we've all stalled while getting used to the car.

Just don't make it a habit.

Good choice onthe transmission =D. i wouldnt worry too muc about stalling the car out. I stalled mine out at least 10 times on the way home from the dealership, but no problems. Better the car stalling out then causing any other problems

Ok.....do you mean BAD for the car......or BAD for your ego??????
Ego probable suffers worse!
Stalling is better than slipping the clutch too much....Practice makes perfect

Phew. Still learning stick shift. I've got the hang of it, just need to get used to the car. I was doing well with the Jetta. But then again, Jetta vs G35, i'm learning there's an ever so slight difference. (sarcasm indeed)

Car's got (>_<) such awesome acceleration. I just can't get over it. Seriously, after stressing all morning at work, driving out to meet a friend for lunch (and to show off car) put a smile on my face. Stalled it on the way but hey, it's gonna happen.

Love the car. Thank God for the chance and i just pray that i avoid all the little problems that people have come up with. (ie windows)

I did notice that one of my rims was scraped inside the lug-nut holes. Called the salesperson and he said it would be taken care of.

The EGO gets killed of course. It's the worst on local streets. You know you got a fat ride, bumpin jamz, then you stall.

Light turns green but you're just sitting there stalling.
A repeat stall and u just wanna die :P

Even worse if the car jerks back and forth and continues to do so until you depress the clutch again...

Happened to me when I was learning manual on the 95 Maxima.. everyone had whiplash afterwards. Fun though =P

It seems though after I got used to stick again, its pretty tough to stall.. I have noticed if I am about to stall and put the clutch down pretty quickly, itll be ok..
