Hey guys. The title says it all. My stock exhaust pipe is getting rusty for some reason. Does anyone know the warranty cover it?

why dont you call your local dealership?

 

i highly doubt they will cover it... but it wont hurt to try

 

There is a 10yr rust warranty, just don't know if that covers exhaust or not.

 

Anything is possible but I seriously doubt it's under warranty for rust....maybe
if it fell off....

omg, i got 2 different ideas going on here. Well, it's not hurt to try, but you know, those ppl in the dealer, they're weird. Sometimes, they say it's not under warranty, who knows. I just want to make sure that it is under warranty, so i can have a strong idea to get ready to talk to them. My car is running out of warranty, so it is possible if they try to wait for my warranty expired, and try to get some cash from me to fix it. So does anyone know exactly it is under warranty or not? Thanks again guys.

 

yes, there's warranty for rust but that's just for the frame. Im not sure about the exhaust either.

haha, im not gonna wait until my exhaust pipe fell off.

Im bringing the car to the dealer tomorrow to have it checked for the noise that i've heard and the exhaust pipe as well. Im not sure what the guy is gonna say about the exhaust. Those ppl are like working under pressure. Need a strong idea b4 bringing the car in to have an argument with them.

 

Is it the whole exhaust or just the muffler and tips part? Where do you live? $25 in Socal can get you a barely used one (*****Hint*****)
