Sorry I'll try posting some pics I took when I get home.

The car has gone to the shop; insurance sent a flat bed to pick it up and delivered a rental for me... I'm stuck with an Impala for 8 days...

The repair shop where everything is being done has quoted $2200 and that includes:

- Fully repairing driver side door & handle
- Fully repairing rear panel above wheel well where the dent is
- New side view mirror
- Fully painting all parts

I'm surprised its going to take 8 days but at least I have a rental to use for the time being.

Can you take picures and scan your estimate on your computer and put it on here? Just black out vin, location, and name. I would love to read it and see if they are doing it right.

Find out who did it! Theres so many cameras these days all over the place, you should've made a police report and then contact corporate from your company or parking lots company to investigate this, I wouldn't want to waste money like this

edit: didnt see the second page, car is obviously in a shop already

I'd walk around and look at cars every day before work. When you find it throw a bunch of nails under the wheels. Balogna when cold, eggs in the morning and foam ball the exhaust. But I'm a *****.

You could just wait for him then pretend to jack his car, when asking for his wallet asking for his insurance info.

Quit trying to figure out who hit you and get your coupe fixed, it could have been a big azz trash truck. Hit and run drivers are a sorry bunch, but there's many on our roads without insurance and no drivers licenses....

Sorry to hear about your ride. I've gotten hit on four different occasions by hit and run drivers, so I know how pissed you are. You get even more pissed when you realize that there's nothing you can do about it. It's good you have insurance and an incredible deductible! Just make sure the shop you picked does good work. Good luck. BTW, all of my hit-n-runs were in previous cars, not my G ride thank goodness.
