Sluggish performance after the first service?
Re: Sluggish performance after the first service?
I couldn't find anything in the driver's manual about this, but people who've posted before claimed 10 minutes. I can see why you would need to do it for the AT, but I don't see why it would be necessary to do it for the MT. I talked to my service rep about it and he said that you don't need to do it for the MT.

The tech I talked to said to disconnect for 12 hrs. but he was talking about the A/T . I didn't ask about the M/T.

Re: Sluggish performance after the first service?
I remember that when my MR2 Turbo was at Toyota for a while it was sluggish. I found that when I filled up the car with 91 Octane gas, the car ran so much better. So I guess the dealership put regular unleaded in my car. The MR2 is the same at the G35, it requires Premium Unleaded gas, but it does not meant the dealership fills it with that when it is in for service.

They better not have put anything other than Premium in my car or it's death to them. I still haven't disconnected the battery yet but I hope it doesn't take 12 hours. Mayne I just got used to the G35 Sedan since I had it for a week. Dunno, but my baby just don't feel right. I'll see if I can talk to them this weekend. Thanks everyone for your suggestions.
