Im thinkin bout buying an 04 G35 with 67k miles for $10k. The problem is that the seller says the car was wrecked & fixed, the airbags dont work, but it still has a CLEAN title. How is this possible? I would like your thoughts on that please. Any constructive comments or suggestions are welcome. Thanx!

If you buy it.. take it in and get it inspected otherwise youll be dealing w **** soon.

 

why would you ever buy a vehicle thats been wrecked? not to mention no air bags.

 

If 10k is your budget, it may not be a bad idea per say, but don't have us give us our two cents, take it to a mechanic.

if 10k is your budget maybe you should be buying a different car....granite g35's are heaven on earth.

 

yes, take it to your trusted grease monkey and have him look at it. As for airbags - i say if car checks out ok and only issue is airbags...get bucket seats with 5 point seatbelt instead and keep on rolling

 

better buy an extended warranty if you do buy it.

 

It is a clean title because they probably didn't report the problem.. but when it goes through inspection by the DMV, it will become a Salvage Title vehicle...

I wouldnt do it IMO, it would be nice if cars could talk so you could get the whole story. You get what you pay for, remember that!

thanx for all of your input guyz. i went and test drove it and it was f**kin hilarious! the radio/climate control didnt work, there were many dings and paint missing, and while i was driving it...i was going straight but the steering wheel looked like i was makin a left turn! lmao! i made a quick u turn and gave the guy the keys back. never again!!
